Kenneth "Ken" Little, 76, of Oregon, Ill., died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at
home.
Born April 28, 1928, in Hamilton County, Ill., he was the son of Grafton and
Pearl (Wheeler) Little. He married Donna M. Beckler on July 28, 1952, in Gering,
Neb.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He had been a
farmer and well driller and retired in 1999 after 55 years. He lived in the
Oregon community for 27 years after moving there from De Kalb County. He was a
member of United Church of Christ in Malta.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Little of Oregon; a son, Steven (Margie)
Little of Cortland; three daughters, Carla (Garlyn) Rainwater of Pearland,
Texas, Marla (Curt) Milam of Payson, Ariz., and Kimberly (Doug) Bend of Shabbona;
11 grandchildren, Randi, Logan, De'Lyn, Aubrie, Ramsey, Miles, Shauna, Reece,
Tiffany, Traci and Kay Leigh; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Ava; and five
brothers and sisters, Weldon Little of McLeansboro, Myrtle Pool of De Kalb,
Marge Neal of Dale, Dorothy Gwaltney of De Kalb and Nona Miller of Maple Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William, Wilson and
Charles.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8,
at Finch Funeral Home, 405 E. Hitt, Mount Morris, IL 61054, with the Rev.
Darrell Kyle officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
