Paul E. Lindsay, 69, of 524 Valley Drive, Crawfordsville, died Monday in his home from a heart attack.

Mr. Lindsay retired from Raybestos.  He served in the Army during World War II.  He was a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He was educated in Kokomo schools and attended Indiana University for three years.

He was born April 4, 1926, in Kokomo, to George and Verda Kersting Lindsay.  He married Edith Anderson April 12, 1952, at Tipton.  She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Richard of Goose Creek, S.C. and Michael of Oroville, Calif.; two sisters, Melsena Ray of Crawfordsville, and Clarice Johnson of St. George, Utah; four brothers, Arthur of Lincoln, Neb., Louis of Henderson, Nev., Lae of Kokomo, and James of Sparks, Nev.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Arthur Lindsay officiating.  Entombment will be in Oak Hill Mausoleum.  There will be no calling.
