Name:    Willard M. Knight

William [sic] M. "Bill" Knight, 96, of Hazelwood, Died Sept. 26, 2014 at his home.  "Bill" was born May 15, 1918 in Bullock, KY to Walter and Myrtle Knight.

He was a postal clerk for U.S. Postal Services in downtown Indianapolis for 20 years, retiring in 1984.  "Bill"  was a U. S. Navy Veteran for 20 years, serving during WWII and the Korean War. 

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Wed., Oct. 1 at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.  There will be no visitation.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Shirley (Hughes) Knight; children: Debra (Dennis) Brink, Indianapolis, Don Frederick Walker and Christopher Walker, both of Speedway; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, Francis Knight, Bloomington; a sister, Virginia Lynch, Indianapolis.
