Mrs. Margaret C. Kimball, 91, former records clerk at Indiana Veteran's Home, died at 8:25 p.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been hospitalized one week and in ill health several years.
Born at South Bend, she was reared there and moved to Lafayette in 1916. She was married in 1903 at South Bend to Burton C. Kimball; he died in 1935.
Mrs. Kimball was also a clerk at Loeb's Department Store before her retirement. She attended First Christian Church and made her home with a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Marvin F. Kimball, 1822 Wilson St.
Kimball, Mrs. Margaret C -- Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Services in Hippensteel Chapel, 1 p.m. Tuesday; the Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Wick officiating; interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Also surviving are six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sons, Marvin F. Kimball, June 1975, and Robert L. Kimball, July 11, 1976.
