OBITUARY
Name: Elymus Kibbe

Elymas Kibbe was born in Potter's county, Pennsylvania, January 5th, 1850. At the age of three he moved with his parents to Flint, Michigan. In 1856, they moved to Kansas, where he grew to manhood.
He was married to Evelyn Elizabeth Galutia, October 18th, 1873. To this union were born four sons and a daughter, Timothy Victor, Bessie Lillian and his wife preceded him in death. The surviving are Elbert Elymas of Kennewick, Washington, Edwin Butler and Walter Henry Kibbe both of Arnett. Twelve grandchildren, three great-grand-children and a host of other relatives. In 1908 he and his family moved to Texas, and in 1917 to Missouri. In 1931 he moved to Arnett with his son Walter Henry Kibbe.
His last words were, "God will take me back to Kansas".
He departed this life at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 7 days. The remains were taken to Osage City, Kansas, Friday, August 23rd, where interment was made in the family plot. Funeral rites were held at Osage City, Kansas, Saturday, August 14th.
