Henry R. Keck, 71, of Wellsboro RD 2, died Thursday, October 15, 1959 in Parsella Convalescent Home.  He was born August 11, 1888 in Wellsboro, the son of Jacob and Christina Kilgus Keck.  A retired former, Mr. Keck was a member of the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church and Galeton Moose Lodge.

Surviving are his widow, Lois Hollenbeck Keck; two sons, Robert of Lawrenceville and Wayne of Painted Post; four sisters, Mrs. Christina Miller and Mrs. Mary Glennon of Wellsboro, Mrs. Clarence Ham of Montrose, and Mrs. Raymond Sample of Corning; six brothers, Fred, John and Carol of Wellsboro RD 3, Jacob of Middletown, N.Y., Chris of Wellsboro, and Clarence of Pine City; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held from Kuhl Funeral Home, 126 Main Street, Sunday afternoon at 3:30, the Rev. John H. P. Strome officiating.  Burial was in Wellsboro Cemetery.
