Charles Oscar "Buster" Jones died Oct. 30, at the age of 86.  Mr. Jones was born Mar. 26, 1912 in Diamond Springs.  He was a resident of the Georgetown Divide.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking and spending time with relatives.  He was a veteran of World War II.  He lived independently in his family home and enjoyed good health until the day of his death.

He is survived by his nieces Barbara Gerard, Audrey Gerard, Carolyn Gerard, Emily Word, Jeanne Edwards, Jane Culver, and Roberta Mainwaring.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Georgetown Cemetery.  Friends are invited to gather at the home of Nancy Gerard, 8585 Wentworth Springs Road.

Arrangements were made by Chapel of the Hills of Auburn.
