OBITUARY

Mrs. Kathryn Ives, wife of V. M. Ives, died at her home in Roaring Branch, March 7, after a long illness. She was born in Niles Valley and lived there until about 17 years ago, when she moved to Roaring Branch.

She was 56 years of age and besides her husband she is survived by 3 daughters and one son: Maude, wife of Charles Buzzard; Belle, wife of Oliver Schmelzle of Roaring Branch; Jennie, wife of Samuel Carpenter, of Niles Valley and Leon Ives of Arkport, NY; also by 3 sisters, Mrs. Myra Lyons of Niles Valley; Mrs. Belle Sweet of Wellsville, NY; and Mrs. Minnie Krumm of Brownlee and two brothers, George Adamy of Wellsboro and Abraham Adamy of Corning.

The funeral was held at the Methodist Church in Roaring Branch and the remains were taken to Niles Valley for burial. Rev. M. J. Scripture officiated.
