Clyde R. Hutchcraft, 56, Gibson City died unexpectedly at the Moody Feed Store at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 12, 1959.  Mr. Hutchcraft, an employee at the store, apparently died of a heart attack.  He had been under care of a physician for a heart condition.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon McDormand, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.  Burial will be in the Gibson City Cemetery.  Visitation began Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home.

Mr. Hutchcraft was born September 5, 1902, in Aden, son of John and Amy Viola (Garrison) Hutchcraft.  He was married on December 10, 1924 to Ella O. Bond at Aden.  He farmed near Gibson City until six months ago when he moved to Gibson City.

Mr. Hutchcraft was a seed corn salesman.  He was a member of the First Christian Church.

He leaves his wife; a daughter Mrs. John (Velma) Trimble, LeRoy; two sons, Frederick M. and Robert L., both of Gibson City; his father, three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clay (Rachel) Sharer, Carlinville, two brothers, John, Belividere, and Clarence, Odessa, TX.  He was preceded in death by his mother.
