Name:    Helen Joyce (Parkinson) Humphrey

Joyce Humphrey, 65, of Newburg, died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday at Deaconess Hospital.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in German Township, Daughters of the Nile and Order of Eastern Star 87, Robert Morris Chapter.  She was past president of Demolay Mothers and Cynthia Heights Parent Teachers Association.

Surviving are her husband Paul; a daughter, Paulette Humphrey of Evansville; a son Tim Humphrey of Evansville; two sisters, Sue McEwen and Barbara Parkinson, both of Newburgh; three grandchildren, Tim Humphrey II of Fort Bragg, N.C., Todd Humphrey of Washington D.C., and Troy Humphrey of Princeton, Ky.; and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel, the Rev. Edwin Dennis officiating, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ in German Township.
