Mrs. Byron Holiday, aged 79 years, died at her home in Elmira Saturday evening, of heart disease.  She was born in Middlebury and resided in Wellsboro for a number of years prior to 1877, when she removed to Elmira.  Her husband was at one time proprietor of the Coles House.

Her husband, one son, Byron Holiday Jr., and one brother, J. S. Carpenter, of Middlebury survive her.

The funeral well be held today; interment in Elmira.
