OBITUARY

Name:   Caroline (Beeman) Holiday

Mrs. Delos Holiday, aged 76 years, died Thursday afternoon at 2:10 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. M. Wheeler, on Conway street, after many years of poor health.  She had been an invalid for 25 years.

Mrs. Holiday's maiden name was Caroline Beeman, and she was born in Middlebury township on August 31, 1834, the daughter of Edward [sic] and Lorena Carpenter Beeman.  She was the last of a family of five children.

To Mr. and Mrs. Holiday were born five children, all of whom, with their father, survive.  They are S. V. Holiday, Mrs. C. M. Wheeler, Mrs. E. D. Fellows, and Mrs. W. V. Enter, all of Wellsboro; and Mrs. C. S. Scranton of Marshcreek.

Mrs. Holiday was a member of the First Baptist church and was highly esteemed by all of her acquaintances.

The funeral was held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, Rev. Claude G. Langford officiating.  The remains were taken to Keeneyville for interment.
