Man Dies After Baseball Mishap--Henry Hines [sic] Suffers Brain Concussion; Is Former Resident of Palatine. Injuries suffered at a sand-lot baseball game proved fatal to Henry Hines, a former Palatine resident, who died Tuesday. He had been making his home with a son, Donald Hines, at 5004 North Kenneth avenue, Chicago. Mr. Hines, 71 years old, suffered a brain concussion two weeks ago when a catcher ran into him in a neighborhood game and had been unconscious since that time. Funeral services will be held Sunday at Newell, Ia. Surviving are the widow and the son, Donald. Mrs. Vernon Drewes of Palatine is a niece and S. W. Kelso of Des Plaines is a brother-in-law.

Mr. Henry Hine, 71, died Tuesday afternoon in his home in Chicago. He had been injured about two weeks ago while watching a baseball game, and suffered a concussion when knocked down by one of the players. The funeral services will be held Sunday at Newell, Iowa, Mr. Hine's home town; however, the remains will be at the funeral home in Des Plaines until Saturday. Mr. Hine was an uncle to Mrs. Vernon Drewes.
