Name:   John Arnold Hickox Jr.

John Arnold Hickox Jr., 35, of Slippery Hill road, Williamstown, died this morning at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.  He had been ill of a disease diagnosed as either Hodgkin's disease or Leucocythaemia since last August and had been admitted to the hospital in Boston early Saturday.

Mr. Hickox was born in Williamstown, the son of John A. Hickox, and the late Mrs. Anna Hansen Hickox.  He spent all of his life in that community.  After attending the public schools, Mr. Hickox became associated with his father in working as a painter and paperhanger.

Besides his father, Mr. Hickox is survived by his wife, the former Miss Delsa Worth of North Adams, and a 12-year-old daughter, Marjorie.  He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Albert Cummings Jr. and Mrs. Samuel Rounds, and one brother Harry Hickox, all of Williamstown.

The funeral of John A. Hickox Jr., of Slippery Hill road, who died yesterday in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, will take place in the home on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.

Last evening, the body of Mr. Hickox arrived here by train to be taken to his home.
