George Daniel Hastings, aged 70 years, of Knoxville, died Monday night.  He was born in Chatham, son of Timothy and Laura Baker Hastings.

His survivors are his widow, a sister and several brothers.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 o'clock; burial in the Keeneyville cemetery.
