Name:   William "Will" Harder

Peace Justice Will Harder of Alma, died at his home this morning at 6 o'clock.  He had been a resident of Alma and vicinity most of his lifetime and had been employed by the Empire Gas & Fuel Co. for over 40 years.  He had been a member of the town board for many years, having been first appointed when he was 21 years old.

He was born Jan 28, 1878 in Michigan, the son of Uriah and Sarah Cole Harder.  In August 1901, he was married to Bell Galutia who survives him.

Also surviving are a son, Francis V. Harder of Wellsville and a daughter, Mrs. Dewey Penny {sic} of Alma; three brothers, B. R. Harder of Wellsville, Eli Harder of Stannards, Lee Harder of Genesee, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Elliott of Rew City, Pa.

A prayer service will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock to be followed by a service at Christian Temple at 3 o'clock.  The Rev. Keith Perry of Alma and the Rev. Charles Kemp of Wellsville will officiate.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Mausoleum.
