Florence E. Grace, age 90, formerly of 528 W. High St., Painted Post, NY, passed away Friday, November 26, 2004 at Founders Pavilion in Corning, NY.

Florence was born March 23, 1914 in Corning, NY, the daughter of William and Alice Hays Stanton.  She was a 1932 graduate of Northside High School and became the wife of Edmund Grace July 8, 1934 in Corning.

Florence was a beautician for over 40 years in her home and a member of the Painted Post Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Being very artistic, Florence loving painting and working with dried flowers as gifts for church, friends and family.

Surviving Florence are daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Jay Allen of Calabash, NC, Carol and Everett Bosket of Windsor, NY, Kathryn Brown of Painted Post; a brother, William Stanton of Painted Post; a sister, Rose Hall of Corning; grandchildren, Michael Allen, Jeffery Allen, Cathy DeGarmo, Diane, David, Debbie and Donald Bosket, Stacy Husted; great-grandchildren Brian and Megan Allen, Margaret and Henry DeGarmo, Katie Bosket, Matthew, Justin and Nathan Arnold, Christopher and Rachel Husted.

Friends are invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St. on Sunday, November 28, from 2 to 4 PM. The funeral service will be at the conclusion of the visitation (4 PM). The interment will be in Goodsell Cemetery in Hornby, NY.
