He was born Jan. 1, 1945, in Buffalo, N.Y., to Charles S. and Elizabeth M. (Galutia) Glase.  Robert worked for the Adrian Steel Company.

Robert's survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Glase of Port Allegany, Pa.; one son, William Glase of Adrian; one daughter, Mary Baker, of Adrian; his former wife and very close friend, Kathleen Glase; one sister, Linda Clark of Port Allegany, Pa.; one half-brother, Frank Glase of Port Allegany, Pa.; two half-sisters, Iva Jackson of Port Allegany, Pa., and Dorothy Hill of Spring, Texas; two grandchildren, Charles and Tara; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and his half-sister, Marion Woodruff.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 1998, at 1:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home with Father Louis Komorowski officiating.  Burial will be in the Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh.  Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home.
