BELMONT -- Marion B. Gilluly, 84, formerly of 22 South St., died Monday (Dec. 4, 2006) at the home of her daughter in Belmont.

Born June 19, 1922, in Andover, she was the daughter of Ralph and Hazel Baker Burgett.  On Oct. 27, 1945, in Andover, she married Max Gilluly, who predeceased her Sept. 19, 1958 [sic].

Mrs. Gilluly was a 1939 graduate of Andover High School.

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy (Jamie) Purdy of Warsaw and Mary Ellen (Jesse) Babbitt of Belmont; a son, Charles (Valerie) Gilluly of Belmont; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Rosemary) Burgett of Amherst; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Burgett, who was killed in action in 1943 while serving in World War II.

Friends may call at the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Belmont on Wednesday (Dec. 6, 2006) from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at which time funeral services will be held.  Deacon Frank Pasquale will officiate.  Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Belmont.
