OBITUARY
Name: Stephen Andrew Gdula

A life resident of Auburn, he was a communicant of St. Hyacinth's Church and served as an usher. He was employed by P & C Company until his retirement in 1983. A member and financial secretary of the Polish Falcons, he was treasurer of Throop No. 13 of the Boy Scouts of America, First United Methodist Church, and was the recipient the Silver Beaver, the Order of the Arrow and the Wood Badge Award. He was also a member of the Literacy Volunteers and the UFCW Local No. 1.
Surviving besides his wife are: a son, Marshall A. Gdula, of Lander, Wyoming; two daughters, Charis E. Gdula of Uttica New York, and Mrs. Paul (Allison C.) Mayo of Houston, Texas; a grandson, Russell Gdula of Lander, Wyoming; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Antoinette) Morhiser and Mrs. Casimer (Stella) Popek; a brother, Gerald J. Gdula, all of Auburn; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Niepon Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. Hyacinth's Church. Interment will be at Soule Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, 225 State Street, where members of the Polish Falcons will conduct services at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Polish Falcon Memorial Fund or to St. Hyacinth's Church.
