Name: Margaret (Dillingham) Garrison

Margaret D. Garrison, 80, of 3209 Central Drive, died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday at
Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was a retired assistant cashier of First Bank and Trust, and had worked
there as teller and assistant cashier for 27 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Myers-Baril Chapel, with
Dr. Clyde Funkhouser officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel after 5 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Garrison was born April 16, 1896, in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of William
West Dillingham and Nellie Leona (Goodale) Dillingham. She was married to Ruis
H. Garrison [November 4, 1933], who preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1958.
She was a member of the First Methodist church.
Mrs. Garrison is survived by a son, R. LeBen Garrison of Mt. Vernon; a daughter,
Eleanor Bridgers of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Ledlie Meloy and Elma
Reynolds, both of Mt. Vernon, and Dorothy Cummings of Albert, N.M.; two
brothers, Harry West Dillingham and Kenneth G. Dillingham, both of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.
