 Boonville resident Helen Garrison died Friday, Dec. 20 at Southwind Healthcare in Boonville.  She was 92.

Helen was born in Warrick County, the daughter of Samuel T. and Margaret Cron. Helen loved gardening and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Joe F. Garrison, in 1967.

Helen is survived by five daughters, Georgia Peck and Elizabeth Cohoon, both of Evansville, Mary Barker of Boonville, Ruth Hicks of Clearwater, Fla., and Carol Petri of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Lawrence Garrison of Battle Creek, Mich. and John Garrison of Evansville; a sister, LaFern Martin of Boonville; 35 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 23 at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel, with Mr. Ronald Sarver officiating and burial was in Garrison Cemetery near Tennyson.
