Harmon Earl Garrison, 77, or 1408 W. Main St., Marion, died at 11:25 a.m. Monday at Marion Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Garrison was the father of two former Williamson County judges, lawyer Norbert C. Garrison of Marion and the late Major Herbert Garrison, who died in 1945.  A daughter, Edna, also preceded him in death.

He was a retired automobile dealer in West Frankfort and a tire and furniture merchant in Marion, After his retirement in 1954, he was a full time fisherman in Florida and southern Illinois.  He was a member of the Marion First Methodist Church and the Elks Lodge 800.

He was born in Carmi Jan. 1, 1890, the son of James and Emmer McCallister Garrison.  He married Jessie Campbell, who died in 1918.  He married Ola Pitchford in St. Louis, Mo., April 17, 1923.  She died Sept. 28, 1964.

Mr. Garrison leaves children Norbert of Marion, Thomas of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Charles Trosper of Belleview, Mich.; sisters, Mrs. Ola Treece of West Frankfort and Mrs. Pearl Campbell of Carmi; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wilson Funeral Home, Marion.  The Rev. Everett Finch will officiate.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home.
