Ezra Garrison, 64, died Sunday at 10:30 p.m. in his home, nine miles west of Harrisburg, on Route 13. A complication of diseases caused his death.
Mr. Garrison, who was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Garrison was born and spent his life in the community where he died.
He leaves his wife Loula May and five children, Ray Garrison of Marion RFD; Mrs. Gladys Blue of Carrier Mills RFD; J. L. Garrison at home, Carl Garrison with the United States Army in England; and Mrs. Rev a Dallas of Carrier Mills RFD. Hew also leaves a brother, Arthur Garrison of Raleigh;10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Spring Grove Church, and burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, according to information from the Miller Monroe Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Virgil Miller will conduct the funeral service and the following will serve a pall bearers: Ray, Herman, Lloyd and Ciellan Sims, Herman Garrison and Verna Dungen. The neighbors will serve as flower girls.
