ROTAN, Dec. 3 -- The funeral for Mr. B. L. Garrison, 80, of the Midway community, who died Sunday at his farm home, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Midway Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rotan.
Officiating will be the Rev. J. H. Skiles, pastor. He will be assisted by the Rev. G. M. Rogers, pastor of the Sardis Baptist Church.
Mr. Garrison was born Sept. 7, 1876. He moved to the Bud community in west Fisher County in 1925 from Pecan Gap in Delta County. In 1937, he moved to the Midway community in Scurry County.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Doyle of Hermleigh, Clyde of Snyder and Clay of Dallas; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Grady of Dallas and Mrs. Horace Hull of Clyde; three step-sons, Morris Casey of Lubbock, Jim Tom Casey of Nebraska and Clyde Casey of Snyder; one step-daughter, Mrs. Marie Sides of Midland; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.
