Marion E. Galutia, 76, of Stannards Road, died yesterday in Jones Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irvin (Grace Wilson) Galutia, he was born Jan. 11, 1894 in Sweden Valley, Pa.

Mr. Galutia was a retired carpenter; a World War I veteran; member of the Stannards United Methodist Church; and a member of the Eldred, Pa. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2092.

He is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Glase of Port Allegany, Pa.; Mrs. Edward (Jean) Wlasniewski, Wellsville; two sons, Irving D. Galutia of Rangoon, Burma; and Theodore D. Galutia, Wellsville; a step-daughter, Miss Onnolee Weber, Olean; two step-sons, Frederick and Karl Weber both of Buffalo; 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. tomorrow (Nov. 12) at the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Friday (Nov. 13) at 2 p.m..  The Rev. Lee W. Chamberlain, pastor of the Stannards United Methodist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
