OBITUARY

Name:   Harold Paul "Slim" Galutia

CANISTEO -- Harold P Galutia of Canisteo RFD 2, died Sunday morning at Meyer Memorial Hospital, Buffalo, where he had been a patient for the past nine days.  He was 66 years old.

A native of Warsaw, he was a veteran of World War I, and was employed by the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad as a carpenter.  He was a member of the Canisteo Grange, the American Legion and the South Canisteo Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Cornish Galutia, to whom he had been married for the past 44 years; four brothers, Leo Galutia of Genesee, Pa., Marion Galutia of Wellsville, Ellsworth Galutia of Elmira Heights and Ralph Galutia of Pennsylvania.

Funeral and committal services will be held at the Smith Funeral Home in Canisteo at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Canisteo.
