Name:   Ellsworth Dayton "Speed" Galutia

GREENWOOD -- Ellsworth (Al) Galutia, 72, of Greenwood died this morning in St. James Mercy Hospital.

He was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service where he worked for 17 years.  He was also a past president of the G and T Expediting Service.

He was a former resident of Elmira Heights.

Surviving are is widow, Ellen Kernan Galutia; and one brother, Marion, of Wellsville.

Funeral services will be at the Smith Funeral Home in Canisteo Thursday at 1 p.m. with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.

Galutia -- Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home in Canisteo from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.  Mr. Galutia was a former member of the American Legion and was a World War I veteran.  Rev. Gerald Wolter of the Greenwood United Methodist Church will officiate the services.  The family requests that those who wish may contribute to the Heart Fund.
