Mrs. Bernice Galutia is Claimed by Death

Dies Unexpectedly at Bethesda Hospital.  Funeral Services at Family Home Monday Afternoon

Mrs. Bernice A. Galutia, 38 years old, wife of Paul Galutia of 96 Bennett Street, died unexpectedly this morning at Bethesda Hospital.  A daughter, Alberta Jane, born yesterday, died three hours after birth.

Mrs. Galutia was a life-long resident of Hornell and was well known and highly regarded.  Her untimely death is the source of much sorrow among a wide circle of friends.

Besides her husband, deceased is survived by three children, Dorothy, Richard and Marjorie Galutia, all at home; three sisters, Miss Ethel Hedges and Mrs. Raymond Robbins, this city, and Mrs. W. B. Brown of Fremont; two brothers, Artemus and Raymond Hedges, both of this city.

Services and interment for the baby were held this afternoon at Rural Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held at the family home Monday at 2:30.  Interment will be made in Rural Cemetery.
