Alfred Galutia Dead.

Former Resident of Eldred Passed Away in Hornell Wednesday.

Following an illness of three months duration, Alfred Galutia passed away at his home in Hornell Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.

Deceased was born in Eldred May 7, 1857 where he resided until about fourteen years ago when the family moved to Hornell.  He was married to Miss Jennie Blowers of Eldred on August 14, 1880 who survives and to this union three children were born, Mrs. John Higgins of Eldred and Paul Galutia of Hornell; another daughter, Mrs. Lulu Grassfield passed away a number of years ago.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; besides two brothers, J. E. Galutia of Eldred and Ervin Galutia of Genesee, Pa.

A prayer service will be held in Hornell at 10 o'clock Saturday morning after which the body will be brought to Eldred where the funeral will be held from the Church of God on Main Street, Rev. Smith of Hornell will officiate.  Interment will be made in Oak Hill Cemetery.

FUNERAL HELD HERE SATURDAY

The funeral of the late Alfred Galutia of Hornell was held here Saturday in the Church of God on Main Street at 2 p.m., Rev. Smith of Hornell officiating.

Galutia and family, Vivian Higgins, Mrs. Ray Blowers and sons, Mrs. Pettis, Mrs. John Wesley, Miss Vivian Wesley, Rev. and Mrs. Smith of Hornell; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Galutia, Genesee, Pa.; George Galutia, Shongo; Mrs. Leroy Smith, Olean; Mr. and Mrs. John Grassfield Jr., Patterson, N.J.; Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Stillwell, Roulette; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Threehouse, Tonawanda, N.Y.; Miss Dorthea Higgins, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Moonan And Floyd Mung of Bradford; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Parker and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Parker of Rixford.
