RICHFIELD SPRINGS -- Victor Galusha, 76, died February 17 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John C. Robinson, 43 Church St., after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McGrath Funeral Home, with the Rev. Horace A. del Pozzo, minister of First Presbyterian Church of Richfield Springs officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Galusha was born Aug. 5, 1886 in East Springfield, son of George and Bernice (Stansel) Galusha. He attended East Springfield School. On Dec 7, 1909, he married Anna Werner of Van Hornellsville. She died in 1940.
He was a dairy farmer and carpenter in the East Springfield area, until his retirement 8 years ago, when he came to make his home in this village. He formerly attended East Springfield Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by two sons, George of Mohawk and Robert of East Springfield; five daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Robinson, Richfield Springs; Mrs. Jesse (Frances) Beach, Oneonta; Mrs. Victor (Mildred) Pushlar, Casenovia; Mrs. Donald (Beulah) Bancroft, Schuyler Lake; Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Vickerson, Jordanville; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
