PALATINE BRIDGE, N.Y. - Robert C. Galusha, 71, of Palatine Bridge, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at Syracuse Veterans Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was born on March 22, 1938, the son of the late Clarence and Mary Galusha. Bob was educated in the Dolgeville School District. He proudly served in the United States Navy and Army National Guard. Mr. Galusha lived most of his life in the St. Johnsville area after meeting and marrying the love of his life, Sandra.

Bob and Sandy had a passion for country music. They enjoyed dancing on Saturday nights at the Pine Lake Inn for many years.

Mr. Galusha is survived by his son, Robert J. Galusha (Caryn); his grandchildren, Cassandra Lee Galusha and Robert Falcone Galusha of Dewitt; and his very special niece, Jaclyn Sanquine Moore and her family of Ilion. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Galusha was predeceased by his loving wife, Sandra Sanquine Galusha, and his sisters, Geraldine and Lois Galusha.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 3, 2009, at 11 a.m. in Rural Park Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Little Falls, NY.
