The funeral for Opal A. Galusha, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Henninger Allen Chapel with the Rev. John Jamison officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 18, 1913 at Freedom to Edd and Jennie Schriner Anderson and died Monday, Dec. 22, 1997, in St. Mary's Mercy Hospital.

She graduated from High School in Freedom and on July 9, 1930, she married L. E. "Bud" Galusha in Enid.  They made their first home on a ranch near Coldwater, Kan. The returned to Enid in 1937 where they have lived ever since.  She was a homemaker all of her life.

She is survived by three daughters, Naomi Seefeldt of Menominee, Mich., Ramona Varra of Mims, Fla., and Betty Kinney of Enid; three sons, Doyle Galusha of Enid, Delbert Galusha of Ringwood and Gary Galusha of Hudsonville, Mich.; one brother, Aden Anderson of Utah; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, a sister and an infant son.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation Diabetes Division with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
