Louise M. Galusha, 87, of Newark died November
19, 2007 at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
Family and friends may call Friday (Nov. 23) from 4 to 7 at the Norman L.
Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Funeral Mass will be
Saturday (Nov. 24) at 10 a.m. at St. Michael Church, S. Main St., Newark. Burial
will follow in Newark Cemetery.
She was born June 22, 1920 in Palmyra to Philip and Clara DeRoo Vrelynck. She attended Newark Schools and had worked at Sarah Coventry for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Newark Grange for over 55 years and past President of the Newark Garden Club. Baking was her specialty and the awards and ribbons she won were evidence of that.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clifford Galusha; daughter Kaye (Stanley) Vear of Geneva; grandchildren Michelle (Mark) White of Ohio, Vanessa (Josh) Smith of Penn Yan, Susan (Ken) Gabehart of WV, Alisa Vear of WV and Michael Feiock of VA; six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her only sister Virginia Baker.
