SAYRE -- Joyce Galusha, 70, of Main St., Corning, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at Robert Parker Hospital.

She was born August 5, 1935 in Corning, NY, the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Winifred (Huggins) Lanager.  Joyce and Richard (Dick) W. Galusha were married May 20, 1952.  Dick predeceased her on January 16, 2002.

Joyce retired in 1996 from Corning Hospital where she worked as a dietician for over 30 years.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Dawn) Galusha of Painted Post; step-mother Genevieve Lanager of Painted Post; brothers and sisters, Beverly (Delos) Harrison of Hornby, Wayne (Pamela) Bennett of Corning, Junior (Virginia) Griffin of NC, Kay Stickler of Corning, Sheila Bennett of AZ, Jerry (Roxanne) Lanager of Painted Post, Gail (Earl) Robbins of Corning, Marlene (Hank) Buck of Beaver Dams, Dean (Christine) Lanager of Painted Post and Carolee (Tim) Brennan of Painted Post; brother-in-law, William (Pat) Galusha of Mansfield, PA; a grandson, Jason (Amy) Galusha of Painted Post; Uncle, Harlow Richard (Rheta) Huggins of Addison; Aunt, Lucille Lanager of Elmira; several nieces and nephews; he best friend of 40 years, Nancy Knickerbocker of Painted Post; and close neighbor, Rhonda McIlwain of Corning.

The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home, 327 E. Second St., Corning on Friday, September 16, 2005 from 5-8 p.m.  Funeral services will follow calling hours at 8 p.m. with Rev. David Braid officiating.  Burial will be in Chapel Knoll Cemetery, Coopers Plains, NY on Saturday, September `7, 2005 at 10 a.m.
