LAUREL -- Funeral services were held in Everett, Wash., for John E. Galusha, 71, former Laurel resident. He was a scaleman for the Montana Highway Department from 1957 until his retirement in 1965, when he moved to Everett.
Mr. Galusha was born Aug. 27, 1899 in Sauk Center, Minn. and came to Laurel in 1933.
Surviving are his wife, Genevieve; a son, John Galusha and a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Karst, both of Laurel; a step-son, Gary Galusha of Everett; two sisters, Mrs. Lucile Miller of Hemet, Calif. and Mrs. Alice Holmes, Lewistown; and four grandchildren.
Since his retirement, Mr. Galusha was involved in the Evergreen State Braille Transcribers of Everett.
