James E. Galusha, 82, of Logan passed away at his
residence Thursday morning, Jan. 20, 2005. He was born on Aug. 13, 1922, in St.
Paul, Minn., to Edward and Esther Galusha.
Jim grew up in St. Paul and after school he joined the U.S. Naval Service in the
Coast Guard. Jim moved to Logan in 1972. He ranched and was a water irrigator
for the Wytana Ranches in Manhattan, retiring in 1998.
Jim married Florence Rose Kirkwood on Feb. 14, 1977, in
Three Forks.
Jim is survived by his wife, Florence Galusha of Logan; sons, Mike Ronning
(Ellen) of Phoenix, Ariz., Tony Ronning (Candy) of Ajo, Ariz., Steve Ronning
(Brenda) of Missoula; daughter-in-law, Patricia Ronning of Three Forks; numerous
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister, Muriel
Ditmarsen of Inver Grove, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Larry Ronning.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, at Fairview Cemetery
in Three Forks, with Pastor Charlie Christensen officiating.
