OBITUARY

Elisha Galusha, aged 93, one of the oldest residents of the township of Muskegon, died late Saturday afternoon at his home in Muskegon Township after a short illness.  Mr. Galusha had been very active almost all of his life.  Mr. Galusha was born in New York state and came to Michigan 65 years ago, locating at Eastmanville.  He came to Muskegon 30 years ago and has since lived on his farm and worked it. 

He leaves one son, Robert of Colorado, and three grandchildren, Mrs. William Spink of Battle Creek, and William and Ira Hammond of Muskegon township.  The funeral was held this afternoon at the Balbirnie chapel at 2:30 o'clock.  The Rev. August Schultz, pastor of the St. John's German Evangelical church officiated and interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
