Edward Marcellus Galusha, 82, of 253 North St., Williamstown, a retired employee of Williamstown National Bank where he served over 55 years, died early this morning at the Sweet Brook Nursing Home, Williamstown, where he had been a patient since October.

Born in Williamstown, he was the son of Daniel and Mary Emma (Greene) Galusha.  He retired in 1960 from his position as cashier with the Williamstown bank.  He also was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Williams Lodge of Masons, AF & AM, in Williamstown.  In 1956, he was awarded a Golden Veterans Badge in recognition of his 50th anniversary as a mason.

He is survived by a sister, Miss Grace Galusha of Williamstown; a nephew, Daniel Galusha of Williamstown; and three grand nephews, James, John and William Galusha, all of Williamstown.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at his late residence, with the Rev. J. Thomas Leamon, pastor of the First Congregational Church, Williamstown, officiating.  Friends may call at the residence Thursday afternoon and evening at their convenience.  Burial will be in the family lot in Westlawn Cemetery, Williamstown.
