Dolores H. Galusha, 87, formerly of Taylor Ridge, died Tuesday,
Sept. 19, 2006, at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be
in Illinois City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Oak Glen home, Coal Valley.
Dolores was born March 7, 1919, in Galesburg, daughter of Robert S. and Amanda R. Anderson Larson. She married Harold Galusha Aug. 26, 1940, in Iowa City, Iowa.
Mrs. Galusha was a homemaker. Her memberships included the Milan Pythias Sisters and Milan Order of the Eastern Star. Dolores enjoyed reading, baking cookies, sewing and crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was caring for and singing with her grandchildren, Kelly, Scott and Beau.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; daughter and son-in-law, Kay Ann and Tom Carlson, Illinois City; granddaughter, Kelly Muncie, Spring, Texas; grandsons, Scott and Beau Carlson, Illinois City; great-grandchildren, Luke, Jake and Maddie; a sister, Louise Eastburg, Knoxville, Ill.; and a special uncle, Bud Galusha.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Myrtle Callison, Violet Johnson, Florence Brown, Ann Williamson, Lester Larson and Esther Mayhall.
