Man Drowns as Boat Overturns; Second Rescued
One man drowned and another was rescued Saturday after their flat-bottomed rowboat capsized in Randall's pond, near North Creek. The victim was Delbert S. Galusha, 56, of the Warren County community.
His fishing companion, Paul Harrington, also of North Creek, was rescued after clinging to the overturned boat for three hours, Sheriff Robert Lilly said. Lily said Harrington told him the small boat overturned when Galusha stood up in it.
The body was recovered in 12 feet of water by Galusha's brother, Leon, and a nephew.
