Tuesday morning occurred the sudden death of Clark Galusha, at the home of his niece, Mrs. Charles Reese, south of Clifton Springs. He had been out working in the garden when he felt ill and went into the house. Soon after he died. A physician was summoned, who pronounced the cause of death heart failure.
Mr. Galusha was born in Otsego county in 1824, and married Miss Emma Burnett of Phelps. Four children were born to them.
Mr. Galusha was a member of the Fiftieth Engineers and was a member of Gordon Granger Post. He was also a member of the Methodist church of Clifton Springs for many years.
He is survived by two
daughters, Mrs. T. V. Fox and Mrs. Charles Schultz of Clifton Springs, and
George Galusha of Orleans.
