TROUPSBURG -- Charles Melvin Galusha of Troupsburg RFD 1 died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home.  He was 82 years old.

A native of Hornell, he was a diary farmer.  He was a life member and past master of the McClellan Lodge F. & A. M. of Troupsburg, and a 50-year member of the Troupsburg Grange.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Adelia Rogers Galusha; one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Sanford of Troupsburg; two brothers, Orin Galusha of Gettysburg, Pa., and Myron Galusha of Hammondsport; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Everitt of Avoco and Mrs. Chloe Card of Canisteo; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The body is at the family residence in Troupsburg where funeral and committal services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Burdette Howe officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg.
