Alida Galusha died at the home of her parents, Mr. And Mrs. William H Galusha,
of 131 Spring Street, at 4:45 this morning, of consumption, aged 17 years and
one month. Miss Galusha was taken ill some time ago with pneumonia which
developed into the dreaded disease which caused her death.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and an active worker in the Sunday
School of that church. She was much beloved by all her companions. She was a
dutiful daughter and loving sister, and her demise will be greatly mourned by
her large circle of relatives and friends.
Besides her father and mother she is survived by three brothers, Stephen
Galusha, of Watervliet; Nicholas Galusha, of Albany, and Joseph Galusha, of
Manny's Corners. She is also survived by six sisters, Mrs. Henry Weldon, Mrs.
Lewis Willie of Lisha's Kill; Mrs. Jerome Lee, of this city; Mrs. William
Clapper, of Blue Corners, and Mrs. John Laden and Miss Delia Galusha, of this
city. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
