A private service for Martha Galeucia, 85, will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
Martha was born May 7, 1921 in Beverly, Mass., to Charlotte and Henry Barrowclough. She served in the Women's Army Corps (WACS) during World War II. She is registered at the World War II Memorial and the Women in the Military Memorial in Washington D.C.
Martha was a homemaker. She moved to Newark from Lake Wells, Fla. in 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Elliott Galeucia.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn (James) Hayward of Newark; her son, Russell (Pamela) Galeucia of Haines City, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Rebecca and Andrea Hayward, Kevin and Andrew Galeucia, Katie Crean, Heather Burns, and Amy Baptista; and four great-grandchildren.
