CLARKS MILLS -- Beatrice Mae Galusha French, 87, a former resident of Clark Mills, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at the Fort Hudson Nursing Facility in Fort Edward following a long illness.

Born Nov. 26, 1919 in Fort Miller, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Frances (Maranville) Galusha.

Mrs. French was a graduate of Schuylerville High School class of 1936 and was formerly employed by the Ackshand Knitting Company. A member of the Bacon Hill Reformed Church, she taught Sunday school for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William H. French; her brother William H. Galusha, and her sister, Helene B. Robinson.

Survivors include her brother, Robert M. Galusha of Schuylerville, her sister, Velma F. Nelson of Glens Falls; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006 at Flynn Bros., Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville with the Rev. Janet Vincent, pastor of the Bacon Hill Reformed Church officiating.

Interment will be in the spring in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Schuylerville.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
