OBITUARY
Name: Harriet L. (Lamphere) Brown Fowler

Mrs. Fowler was born in North Adams, the daughter of Warren H. and Mary (Boardman) Lamphere and came to Williamstown to make her home in 1882. Two years later, she was married to Charles D. Brown who died in 1901. In 1911, she married the late Israel S. Fowler.
Mrs. Fowler was the oldest member of the First Methodist Church, both in age and in years of membership, having been a member for 75 years. Prior to joining the local church, she was a member of the North Adams Methodist Church. She was also a charter and life-member of Mountain Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by five children, Earl O. Brown, assistant treasurer at Williams College; Miss M. Ruth Brown, a retired teacher in the Williamstown Public schools; Miss Cora A. Brown, nurse in the public schools; Warren M. and Harold L. Brown of Hartford, Conn. She is survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the Fowler home on Moorland St., where friends may call at their convenience.
Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the First
Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Newell E. Davis, officiating.
Burial will be in the family lot in Eastlawn Cemetery. The Hopkins Funeral
Home is in charge of arrangements.
