OBITUARY

Edwin D. Fellows, for many years a resident of Wellsboro, who for the last four years had made his home in Daytona Beach, Fla., died suddenly at the Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo, June 27, 1929, following an operation.  Interment in Elmlawn cemetery in that city.

Mr. Fellows, or "Ed" as he was familiarly known to residents of Wellsboro and vicinity was the son of George L. and Rhoda Hoag Fellows and was born in Delmar, Pa., January 28, 1867.  For the greater part of his life he was connected with the meat business, and for a number of years conducted a meat market in Wellsboro, moving to Endicott N.Y. in 1916 where he followed the same line of work until 1923; when he moved to Buffalo, operating a market in that city.  In 1925, he went to Daytona Beach and was in business there until the time of his death.  Mr. and Mrs. Fellows had recently returned for a few weeks' visit with relatives and friends and called on many of their friends in the vicinity en route to Buffalo.

Mr. Fellows is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie I. Fellows; a daughter, Mrs. J. K. Silvernail; and a son, Eric W. Fellows, both of Buffalo.
