OBITUARY

Wallace V. Etner, aged 57 years, died yesterday morning at his home in Endicott, NY where he had resided for the past eight years, removing there from Wellsboro, where he spent practically all his life up to that time. He was born in New York.

He is survived by his widow, nee Helen Holiday, and seven children -- Margaret, wife of Frank Lott; Marion and Helen, all of Endicott; John of the US Marines; Edward, Paul and Robert of Endicott; also by his mother, Mrs Lena Etner of Wellsboro, four brothers, Charles F. Etner; John A. Etner; Fred C. Etner and R W Etner and four sisters - Mrs Augusta Sticklin; Mrs Evan P. Rees; Mrs John Davis and Mrs Thomas Horning, all of Wellsboro.

He was a member of the Odd Fellows and of the Presbyterian Church and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. The funeral will be held tomorrow; interment at Endicott.
