Douglas, beloved husband of Shirley, nee: Young; Loving father of Leon (Judy) and Dennis (Melinda); dear son of the late Oscar and Eileen; loving brother of Melvin (Dorothy), Geraldine (George) Gall, and Burrell (Novu); fond grandfather of six; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Southwest Chapels, 8230 Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, Ill.  Funeral services, Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8659 S. Sayer.  Interment Bethania Cemetery.  Visitation Sunday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Please omit flowers.
